Our Mission
San José Sánchez Del Río Catholic School educates children in grades K-8 in the tradition of the classic liberal arts, instilling in them the joy of curiosity and the ability to think and learn while helping them to grow in love of God. All that the students and staff do is grounded in the core values of our Catholic Faith. Following this plan San José Sánchez Del Río aims to form the hearts and minds of children to seek to discover the core purpose for which God has created them.
Our Vision
To create a reformed model for Catholic elementary school education that in all its aspects is grounded in the primary purpose of helping our children to know and love Jesus Christ and to guide them in discovering the purpose for which God has created them while upholding the tradition of academic excellence.
School Culture
Through academic instruction guided by the love of Christ the staff of José Sánchez Del Río Catholic School desire to respond to Christ’s command to let the little children come to Him by infusing all of the lessons and activities of each day with the beauty of our Catholic Faith and the traditions of our Catholic culture. We aim to give all of our students the best education available while at the same time aiming to instill in them a love of the Catholic Faith.

What sets us apart?
Our students and staff pursue excellence in all things, as we study the wisdom and timeless lessons to be found in history and in the Great Books. We discover the wonder and beauty of God’s creation as we study science, music, and art. And we seek to understand our core purpose as created by God. Together, the staff, the students and our families work for the good of our families, our church and our community with a servant’s heart. Our families participate in this great work of educating their children, by making sacrifices daily for the good of the school---not just financially, but also by helping support this project in a myriad of hidden and humble ways, done out of true Christian charity.
